Current conditions overview

    A ridge of high pressure far north of the state will slowly weaken through Friday. The ridge will move closer to the state during the weekend in response to a cold front approaching from the northwest.

Leeward waters are on the western shores of the Hawaiian Islands. If you are on the beaches of South Kihei, they are right out front.
